The Bikini Cocktail

Makes enough for 10 servings

To make the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)

300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

Ingredients for the Premix (produces 850ml, serving 10)

400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Directions

Making the Cordial: Put all the ingredients in a pan, bring to a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the stove and leave to reach room temperature completely. Decant into a sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for up to four weeks.

For the Premix: Pour the specified spirits and syrup into a large bottle, let it rest for an hour, then strain best through a fine cloth, to ensure it's perfectly clear.

To serve: Pour 85ml of your premix into your cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir gently for one minute until cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries and complete it using a brief mist of the essential oil over the top.
